To use the Extrude command, select the object you want to extrude and choose Extrude from the Effects menu. The Extrude Object dialog box opens. . X Offset determines the horizontal displacement of the extrusion. A positive number extrudes to the right; a negative number extrudes to the left . Y Offset determines the vertical displacement of the extrusion. A positive number extrudes down; a negative number extrudes up · Percentage determines what percentage of the selected object's size the end of the extrusion will be.
